We support our DMV musical geniuses so we've provided a list of Open Mic Nights in the DMV that you can showcase your art on a weekly basis. Stay tuned to InsiderNights.com and our Blog, as this list will continue to grow and become more informed. Amidst the pull in the community, there has to be a venue for individuals to just zone out, perform before an audience, and stay in tune with the core of their art. Similarly, the public doesn't always want to go out and dance - Sometimes we enjoy sitting down and being entertained from our seats.

Pure Mondays : Open Mic :: Pure Lounge

(Washington, DC) -- Enjoy Pure Mondays at Pure Lounge for an Open Mic and plenty of Monday Night Football! Open bar will be held between 6pm - 7pm. 2-4-1 Drinks from 7pm - 9pm, and Open Mic session from 8pm - 12am. All talent is welcome. Arrive early to sign up.

(Baltimore, MD) -- Each and every first Monday, Peace and Cup of Joe presents an Open Mic Event called "VerbatiMondays". Different poets headline each Monday and the mic is open for artists to rock it out, as well.

(Baltimore, MD) -- Check out Open Mic Mondays at Red Maple for a night of sophistication and artistic indulgences. The Happy Hour lasts from 6PM - 8PM with great food and drink specials. Delight in the Open Mic Session at 8:30PM with artists performing alongside the live House Band. Admission is free before 8pm, $5 until 10pm, and only $10 thereafter.

(Washington, DC) – Bohemian Caverns features a doubly official Open Mic Night each and every Wednesday Night entitled “Wednesday.Verses”. The stage is open to artists performing via poem, monologue, song, or lyrics – From Hip Hop to Spoken Word, the event showcases a variety of talented artists in the DMV. (Washington, DC) -- Maureen Nelson hosts the Modern Times Unplugged Open Mic each and every Friday at Modern Times Coffeehouse. Sign up at 7:30PM and the event begins at 8PM. The event takes place on the lower level of Politics and Prose.
