Last Saturday Night (Feb 19th), I had the pleasure of attending a Special Birthday Celebration for one of the lovely owners of Eden's Lounge, Helen- entitled "Konjo". Let me tell you - I have to introduce the music of that night as the immaculate sounds of DJ Infame! The music was amazing. There was a perfect mix of everything you'd want to hear and every room and section of Eden's Lounge was live and full of people dancing. It was one of those perfect nights out where everything goes beautifully.

Weekly Rewind: Champagne & Fireplace (Good Love Sundays) at Red Maple

Last Sunday (Feb 13th) I just had to check out Champagne & Fireplace, for the 2nd Sundays Edition of Good Love, at Red Maple (930 N Charles Street, Baltimore, MD). When I entered, it was almost at capacity, and tough getting through the door- but once I got in, I had such a good time. DeJuan D Hov Events Team outdid themselves.

Red Maple's Sunday Night party is a Sunday Night party that is set apart from all others in Baltimore City each and every weekend. This is the place where you find the professional, classy crowd that doesn't mind breaking a light sweat on the dance floor. Each 2nd Sunday, you'll find the 2nd Sunday Good Love Edition of this Sunday Night Series.

This particular night was DJ'd by DJ P Drama- where I got the opportunity to hear a great variety of music from old school hip hop, to dance hits, to reggae, some slow jams mixed in, and more. Everyone enjoyed themselves, including myself. For a guaranteed good time. Sunday Nights at Red Maple; and especially check out 2nd Sundays for Good Love.

Weekly Rewind: Gents 101 Happy Hour at Eden's Lounge

I had a ball last Wednesday (Feb 8th) at the Gents 101 Happy Hour at Eden's Lounge. Jazzzy Presents and DeJuan DHov Events Team orchestrated a very entertaining night with music by DJ Tanz and DJ B-Eazy. From 6pm - 9pm everyone enjoys 2-4-1 Drinks, so by the time I got there everyone was buzzed and partying hearty.

Eden's Lounge is the venue in Baltimore where any of the day of the week, besides Sunday (they're closed) you know that it will be a good time. So, I expected nothing less coming inside and I'm never disappointed. The Gents 101 Late Night Happy Hour is where you're going to go to after work, in your chill mode, have a few drinks at their special 2-4-1 rate, and then stay till 12am just because you can't help but to have such a good time.

The music was great and the people were friendly. You end up having such a good time that you wish that it was open until 2am. Another great thing about Eden's is that they usually have their Kitchen open for light orders until 11pm- and I always love to plug their Sweet Potato Fries, YUM!

Super Rich, Russell Simmons comes to Baltimore

This Thursday, Feb 3, 2011 you'll have the pleasure of finding Russell Simmons at Select Lounge (415 N Paca Street, Baltimore, MD). Russell Simmons recently released his book entitled, "Super Rich" and is currently visiting several cities promoting what he considers the keys to success. The book focuses on the idea that if you are a good giver that you inevitably become a great receiver. Most likely, this Thursday he will be signing books as well - So, if you're looking to meet the Multi-Millionaire then come on down to Select Thursdays for this special edition. This event is presented by E4GP, The FlyWire, DeJuan DHov Events Team, and Moody Creations along with Select Lounge.

Labor Day Weekend 2010 in the DMV

Labor Day Weekend 2010 was jam-packed with fabulous events. Give me a moment to fill you in-- I tried to keep a low key weekend schedule but I was drawn in by some, and heard about others through the grape-vine.

This past weekend's numero uno drink, by the way, The Classic Margarita (Jose Cuervo and salt, of course-- My fav bartender at Eden's knows ;). I started my Labor Day Weekend at Eden's Lounge (15 W Eager Street, Baltimore, MD) on Friday Night for DeJuan DHov's Intense Fridays event-- poppin!

Saturday Night, I headed to the Georgetown Harbor, which is utterly gorgeous and breathtaking. The weather was beautiful and it was the chillest evening, ever. I lounged at the, absolutely luscious - Cabanas (3050 K Street Northwest, Washington, DC) - for the entire evening.

"All drinks are on me, tonight" is one of those magical phrases every lady loves to hear when they go out, and I was rolled out the red carpet at Cabanas. While I chose a more chillax evening- I heard through the grape-vine that Love NightClub was stunning on Saturday Night for the "All African" Signature Event. Big-Ups to SoSo Selective Entertainment for a night of elegance and mayhem.

Sunday Night, I hear the place to be was Red Maple Sunday's (930 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD) by EO Entertainment. Based on a couple pictures I scooped on Facebook, it was definitely dope.


Last, but not least, I ended my weekend right where it started- at Eden's Lounge for Cure Mondays. S/O to Trix and Zeke, DJ KI, DJ Trizzy, and Flexxa... cus it was siick. I had such a great time with my girls, and many more Margaritas..
