Where Is The Love? -- Baltimore

OPINION

I’ve noticed that in Baltimore, everyone competes against everyone else in the Nightlife Industry. At times its promoter against promoters, other times its crowd against crowd- and sometimes it’s between DJs, and the lack of support amongst Owners. Unfortunately, I believe some neglect to realize that many of the residents of Baltimore City and the outskirts are bypassing all of Baltimore to party in DC.

With lounges and clubs in Baltimore like Eden’s Lounge, Select Lounge, Milan, the Get Down, Red Maple, Mosaic, Mist, Club One, Bourbon Street, and many others – Baltimore has the capacity to make a resounding imprint on Nightlife on the East Coast and to give the residents of Baltimore, and surrounding areas, a playground to party comfortably with unique entertainment, sounds, crowds, and nightlife experiences.

Contrary to the opinion of many, I believe that Baltimore IS NOT just a place full of people who are adamant to party while wearing jean, fitteds, and hoodies- or where there’s always smoke in the air, or ladies with tacky attire and attitudes, or men and women that can’t handle their liquor and feel the need to fight after or during parties... No. I believe that Baltimore is a place where the ADULT can party, and it should it be remembered, branded, and encouraged as such.

At InsiderNights.com our main goal is to allow people to see this Nightlife World that those of us in the DMV have helped to create, and the many options that are available to those who would like to experience it for themselves. When all parties begin to become more concerned with people coming out and enjoying life – instead of the dollar bill and bashing the “competition” – I believe that our Nightlife World will develop into something greater than anyone ever anticipated.
