Rewind: Fur Fridays at Fur NightClub

Fur Fridays takes place at Fur NightClub each and every Friday Night, where you're sure to see Celebs and Players popping in just about every week. This past Friday Night (Feb 18), I stopped by to check it out. It's an 18+ event, with an extremely long line, so make sure you come early and are mindful of the weather because you may be standing outside for a while.

The first thing that caught me off guard was the Security. I know that these days anything can happen inside the club so Security has to take its precautions. However, even if you're female, be prepared for a full body pat down, including breast check, and hair check. When inside, you'll see Security periodically flashing lights underneath the bar and checking bands. Technically this isn't a bad thing, but just be prepared. There were several fights throughout the night, but all were quickly dissolved by the Security staff.

The music was FIRE - Played by DJ Money, and it featured a great variety of sounds. The crowd filled the club, stage, and VIP sections. This is the type of party where you're going to want to go ahead and pay for the VIP- its well worth it, secure, the ladies have space to sit down, and everybody has more fun in VIP.

This event will cater to the 18+ crowd, and the 21+ crowd (VIP). Check it out for yourself!

Weekly Rewind: Lotus Thursdays at Lotus DC

Each and every Thursday Night at Lotus Lounge, DMV Events and LGI Group present Lotus Thursdays. Last week, I had the pleasure of going upon invitation from Big Matt - and had a BLAST! I entered at about 11pm, and it went from chill to crazy packed in minutes.

Apparently I came a little late- was wondering why everyone seemed so lit- and later realized I missed the Open Bar before 11pm (make SURE you come early). But, even still, I opened myself a tab and had such a great time. The people were extremely friendly and everyone was having a great time.

The music, by DJ Korrect, was fire! The host, Jae Murphy, kept the party live all night. VIP was super crazy with people dancing on top of couches and even the guys were singing with their bottles in hand. This is where you want to be on a Thursday Night in the district.
